Click Energy Offers FIT-less Queenslanders 12cents/kWh

When the Queensland government announced its plan to axe the 8¢ Solar Bonus Scheme, over 50,000 energy-conscious households were left wondering if their bill-reducing investment was the right decision after all.

Solar customers currently on the 8¢ Scheme have until 1 July to earn this rate for their exported electricity. That is, unless they follow the government’s suggestion to negotiate a retailer-funded feed-in tariff with their electricity provider. With no government mandated feed-in tariffs, it’s unlikely retailers will offer anything above and beyond their current contributions in terms of feed-in tariffs for their solar customers.

Unless you are a customer of Click Energy.

When all others have shown no interest in acquiring or retaining solar customers, Click Energy has partnered with DGM Creative to create a solar solution for Queensland households.

All solar customers in Southeast Queensland, not only those affected by the 8¢ feed-in tariff removal, will be invited to choose one of three solar energy plans. A snapshot of the new plans:

Click Shine Budget:
- 6cent feed-in tariff*
- 15% pay-on-time discount off your total bill*
- no lock-in contracts or exit fees
- monthly email bills

This plan was designed for households with higher consumption and low exported electricity.

Click Shine:
- 10cent feed-in tariff*
- 7% pay-on-time discount off your total bill*
- no lock-in contracts or exit fees
- monthly email bills

Click Energy’s current solar energy plan for those who are interested in both a competitive discount and a high feed-in tariff.

Click Shine Reward:
- 12cent feed-in tariff*
- 5% pay-on-time discount off your total bill*
- no lock-in contracts or exit fees
- monthly email bills

An energy plan designed for customers who export a large most of their solar generated electricity.

In hope of being the preferred retailer of solar customers in Queensland, Click Energy will advertise this campaign across various digital channels as well as on Brisbane’s own 4BC talk-back radio.
